Crazy Hat Day

CRAZY  HAT  WALK  DAY!

The Crazy Hat Walk for JUNIOR & SENIOR INFANTS  took place on Friday, 1st of May.

It is always great fun and the children were really excited about it!

All the children in our Junior and Senior Infant Classes took part in the walk which was a fun experience for everyone. As well as all the fun we raised the fab sum of:

€2088.21!

This is a fantastic amount and we would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of you who continue to support the fund raising activities for our school.  THANK YOU!

Hats off to the Parents’ Association for organising this event and to YOU for getting so creative every year!!

The children in the junior school had a great laugh as they paraded about in their finery on their Crazy Hat Walk. Well done to everyone who made a hat and to the teachers and SNAs who accompanied the children on their walk. Hats off to you all!

artifacts-incWEEK!

Every year at about this time, Ms Kavanagh inspires us all to go and hunt for interesting items from the past. We call them Artifacts and they’re real life treasures! Everyone has something that is older than them possibly lying about the house and each item has a story because of the way they are connected to US! Later in the week we had a display of many of the items brought in by the pupils of Saint Mary’s. We took photos so can you see the wonderful array of items we got in.
