On the 27th of November a group of children went to the Cross Country in Bellewstown. It was a cold day but the weather held up.
When we got there we did a lap of the course and then went back to the bus to get a bite to eat. Afterwards we got our number for our race and then went to the course for our warm up.
It was very busy at the starting line, but we managed to find where we were starting. The small schools went first, then the under 11s girls and boys. After these races, the under-13 girls and boys went. We did very well in the races, but it was very tiring.
After all the races we went back to the bus and had some lunch. Mrs. Kavanagh had some treats for us, and we had a chat.
Overall we had a brilliant day.
Thanks very much to Mrs Kavanagh, along with Mr Giblin, for bringing us on this trip and also to Mr O’Sullivan for driving us.
