Caterpillars to Butterflies
Ms. Barry got some caterpillars in her class. We watched them for a few weeks. They started off as small caterpillars and once they had eaten enough they turned into chrysalises. After a few days in their chrysalises, they left their chrysalises behind and became beautiful butterflies. We released them in the field and now they are living in our bug hotel.
For the last six weeks, Kevin from Leinster Rugby came to teach us every Tuesday. We trained very hard and got very good at playing that Kevin even taught us how to play tag rugby. We loved seeing Kevin every week and hope he will come to train us again next year.
On Friday, Fireman Richard came in to talk to us all about fire safety in our homes. We are going to teach everyone in our home about Thumbs Up Monday. Every Monday it is really important that we put our thumbs up and check that our fire alarms are working.
